Lindsey A. Barnett, the heartbeat behind The L.A.B., provides freelance creative services for companies in and around Atlanta, Georgia. The energetic entrepreneur is an artist, who creates cutting-edge, customized design work completely from scratch. "My work is exciting! Every project is different. What's the point of a template? Cookie cutter is not my goal," she protests. The L.A.B. seeks artistic perfection with a resourceful and authentic approach. Lindsey works with various individuals and companies and welcomes any creative endeavor through her doors. "No project or idea is too big or too small. I love working with all kinds of people, long term or short term." Barnett grew up in a small town in the good ol' state of Georgia. She graduated Cume Laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor's of Science in Apparel Merchandising Design and Production Management., focusing on Design. She also studied fashion, language, and culture in Paris, France. Upon graduating, Lindsey landed design work with Victoria's Secret PINK in New York, New York. Post V.S., Lindsey and a colleague began their own line of clothing, "Sweet Tea by Anna Bridgette." The partners went their seperate ways to embark on sole proprietorships. When Lindsey headed back to the Peach State, she landed an opportunity to work for Spanx, Inc. based in Atlanta. She took it as a last stepping stone to start her own business. Lindsey always had an inkling for creative freelance work and in May 2011, Lindsey made the leap to work completely solo. When she found herself developing a heavy portfolio, Barnett decided to brand her work as The L.A.B. Today The L.A.B. is an LLC and encompasses two objectives for the Atlanta public: Creative Services and Product Development. The L.A.B. also houses a private fashion label - Oblige.
